Posting your case


1.) Selecting the legal field

The first step in finding the right lawyer for you is creating your case. By clicking here, you need to select the legal field applicable to your case. After you have made your selection, you will need to select a subcategory, narrowing down your issue – choose the subcategory best fitting your issue

2.) Filling out the questionnaire

After selecting the subcategory, you will be asked to provide more information about your case. All questions appear automatically, and most of them are not required for creating your case. However, we encourage you to try to provide as much information as possible, because it will help the applying lawyers better determining their offers.

3.) Submitting your case

The last step is selecting the regions in which you are looking for legal experts. You can select multiple regions, or even the whole country. It’s important to note that only lawyers in your selected regions will be able to apply for your case. Provide a valid email account and your name. Submit your case by clicking on the submit button.

4.) Creating your account

Your case won’t be live until you create an account. After submitting your case, check your email account – you will find a verification email sent by us. By clicking on the link, you will be asked to choose a password which will be used by you for logging into your account. After you log into your account for the first time, your case goes live, and lawyers can start applying for it..

 

Receiving offers


1.) Waiting for offers

Usually within a few hours of posting your case the offers will start coming in, but sometimes you need to wait for a little longer. All cases are active in our system for 30 days by default, so don’t be afraid if there are no applicants on the first day. We will email you about each new proposal, so you don’t have to keep checking your account.

2.) Comparing lawyers

After you have received a few offers, you can conveniently compare them within your account. You can see who has applied for your case, their cover letters, ratings and prices. By clicking on their names, you can read additional information about them, including their references, skills and office locations. You can also check their website or LinkedIn profile if it is made available.

3.) Discussing your case

If you have any additional questions to any applying legal experts, or you want to provide additional information, you can send instant messages to them within the site. If it’s more convenient for you, you can even call them, if they have provided a phone number on their profile.

 

Hiring


1.) Scheduling a meeting

If you like the offer of a lawyer, you can schedule an in-person meeting with them. Liking their proposal will send an email to both you and the selected lawyer, providing each other your contact details, making further communication easier. You can like as many offers as you want, and you can meet multiple lawyers before selecting one to hire. Don’t forget to ask them if they charge anything for the first meeting.

2.) Selecting a lawyer

If you have decided who to hire for your case, click on the “Select lawyer” button on their offer. This action will close your case for further applications and you and your lawyer will receive each other’s contact information. Now you can write an agreement with them and agree on the payment terms. Selecting a lawyer through the site is NOT legally binding and you can always change your mind later. Also, as we do not handle financial transactions so you will be paying your lawyer directly.
